well lets see where do i start- the week of our wedding was very chaotic- we had a week of the semester before we got married and brandon was living in our new apartment our tiny one bedroom apartment-ill have to post pics of how freakin small this place was- anyways- I stayed with some good friends i met during the summer before- jewels kim and kate-baronessa projects-they were so sweet to let me stay! Brandon and I went to classes that week and unpacked our schmag into the new apartment it was weird and fun at the same time. We even had an eternal marriage class together lol-so we drive down to utah the night before and barley make it to ogden in time to get our marriage license.phew- that would've been bad-then we drove down to salt lake city-we just happened to both be staying at the same hotels with our families- right in front of the temple- that night we all got in the pool and swam with the little kids- it was a lot of fun- you could see the temple reflect in the pool from across the street- to make it even funner my bridesmaid emily was there that night to help have fun- cori was flying in the next day and steph would be there the next day also. My sisters had a connecting room which made for a fun filled evening of laughing emm always makes me so happy i'm glad she was there the night before- our friend from school trevor also came down that night and stayed with Brandon. We all ate at chilis and i dont remember a lot more than that because i was so tired and excited at the same time- it had been a very long week and couple months trying to plan a wedding in utah from rexburg. The next day i was up bright and early and me and my sister acacia went to get our hair done at a salon at the zcmi center- she did an awesome job i loved my hair that day. too bad cacias lady like the poof - cacia went back and had to redo hers cause it was giving her a headache- woops-then back to the hotel to grab all my stuff- my dress was really big so i opted to wear my temple dress for the ceremony and change into my other dress after. I remember thinking to myself that morning I'm so happy I've never been happier- and that moment got better when i met brandon at the temple- he looked so nice and polished and genuinley happy also. The day had finally come. The morning could not have been more beautiful an end of summer crispness with all the beatuiful sunshine and flowers. I was in my element. We went into the temple to sign all the paperworkthen we were seperated i changed and put my dress in the brides room- which is so beautiful-we then met with our sealer and he took about half an hour talking to us. i'll always remember that he told us to have fun togetheralong with 5 other points that we've tried to base our marriage on. The ceremony was beautiful i felt so close to heaven and to brandon a lot of things i feel to personal to write about. all i can say is that it felt like i was in heaven. I've never felt the way abouut brandon as when i looked at him in that room. Heavy with love. After all was said and done- we went to get changed- my dress took forever to put on because it laced up the back and had many layers. I think barrett or cori and emily went to the joseph smith memorial building to get my flowers. I was really worried about how my flowers would turn out- i told the florist i liked unconventional weird stuff- and somehow wanted to incorporate tulips- which were out of season she warned me they might not be in good shape so when my mom handed me my bouquet i got choked up- it was the most beautiful thing i'd ever seen. I loved it and the boutineres were cool too. Brandon was sitting waiting for me and i remember his jaw dropping when he saw me with a big smile going across his face he hadnt ever seen my dress or accesscories a lot of which were my grandmas. he pulled me aside and just held me for a second and we had that fun little moment of being husband and wife before everyone saw us. Travis gugelman soon came into view- our photographer- little did i know i would be posing for about 4 hours now- hply cow this guy took 1700 pictures that day-but he was so worth it- My pictures are so precius to me and he did an astounding job-he had us walk out and the first person i saw was my dear friend cori whod flown from california to be my bridesmaid i was so excited to see her-then i looked around at all my family and was so excited to party and talk to everyone. My flower girls were there looking adorable megan and moragan schofiled- girls i taught dance too and brandon little cousin eve. We took the traditional family pictures which i wasnt to keen on- like i said i appreciate weird fun stuff- then travis wisked us off- we went all around downtown and the grounds and the joseph smith memorial building- and at one point someone stopped us by the street and said are you guys models or are you really getting married- it made us laugh so hard. we waited around for this fountain to turn on for a while and a security guard came up to us --we were like uh oh what happened- he asks- are you brandon johnson..brandon said yes i am - wel sir we have a bag that belongs to you in the waiting room of the temple- joel was in charge of this very importnat bag- aka the passport bagand vouchers for our honeymoon to mexico- thank heavens the guard recognized him came looking for us and we were still there taking pictures 4 hours later- can you imagine the next morning freaking out! we give joel a hard time on this one lol- finally we were allowed to go back and change- brandon came to my fams hotel room and we ordered pizza along with cori emm and trev in the room we all got slap happy and started playing wth the mattresses-ill post pics- then brandon went to get ready for the reception and em cori and i went to go find some pic frames for pics travis had given me that day to display so we went to the gateway..to be continued
