I love my new calling. I work with some mega creative women. Enrichment is like my new baby. My third born. We talked about ideas for 3 hours last night and when I got home I talked My Brandons ear off for another 2- about centerpieces and placemats and runners and food. As he lay next to me quietly laughing( I could hear it). He knows when I get excited I shake my hands and talk fast and he always gives me this look like man your cute when your brain is crazy- what a good man listening to all my girlie party stuff. It's nice to feel involved again- I was up almost all night thinking of ideas writing down things in my notebook- I keep one underneath my bed with ideas thoughts on things because I do a lot of thinking at night- sometimes too much. I was writing and thinking abut things in the red room - My brandon stumbles in and says ok back to bed for you- I think he knows im cranky when I dont get sleep-he comes and tucks me in and cuddles for a couple minutes before cathing the train to work. I love those sweet moments before he leaves in the mornings- usually I'm half asleep and poke his eye when I hug him or hold his hand. As he gives me a forehead kiss every morning I fall back asleep thinking to myself how did I get so lucky.Anyways... I am excited that we are looking at our ward with a fresh look trying to do something different and include everyone young old new crazy shy. I want absolutley everyone to be friends and feel like they belong. feel fresh new lease on life today. The boys are getting better- finally!

yeah for you. I have that same calling and absolutely LOVE it...I am the head of our committe and it's so fun when you get members of the committe as excited as you are to serve!
ReplyDeleteOh I hated this calling, but I love YW. You would have hated it too if you were in my ward though...because we were the youngest ones, and we didn't have a committee and the only people who would help out was the bishopbrick and they were awesome but people kept turning us down to help cause they all said they were too busy and had kids. It would have been fun if we had help or a committe or anything like that. The two activites we did were awesome though! We did a progressive dinner with the entire ward and it was amazing!
