A grasp on humility

I love my little girl-It's so fun to dress her up. I love making headbands to match her outfits- Once I started doing them for her I got the idea to do necklaces and it's kind've been my new fav creative thing lately. I decided to put them in my etsy shop and was shocked at the response I got. I mostly started etsy for an outlet and to trade stuff with other creative people. But in the last week since I opened my new shop and started branding my product. I really can't believe how fun it's been for me the past week knowing my creations are being worn by people all over the globe. And that people actually like them.

It's been good for me this little creative outlet

Especially since MOD has been on the backburner since Chloe was born and because school has been very stressful. Sometimes I get so discouraged feeling like I'm never going to finish. I get sad because I had to wait 2 years for my permanent resident card and they wouldn't let me finish school up here until I had it.
And by the time I had it I was ready to start having my kiddos.

It would've been a lot easier to finish before in those two years I was in Canada just waiting. I love them so much and I know it was the right timing for me and Brandon- it's just some days I really miss living in Rexburg and going to school all day. Knowing that If I'd stayed there I'd be done. Brandons Job oppertunity's were so much better here
and thats why we moved right after he graduated.

It's especially hard watching my sisters go to school and watching them graduate first. I'm very happy for them but sometimes it makes me feel like I was a slacker or something. While I'm doing everything online and it's taking forever because I only do 2 classes at a time. I miss the feeling of going onto campus every day. I loved actually being in class.

I've come to realize the past year that it's a matter of humility for me- something I really needed to learn and it's teaching me that I'm not going to be first-
to graduate to get a job ect in my family -which was very hard for me to finally grasp.
I realized I needed to be humble and do what the Lord wanted me to do.
I needed to be proud of my sisters and of everyone else in my Brandons family.

Even though I'm doing school a different way and on my own time line. It is ok.
It bothered me so much and through many prayers and support from Brandon I know that my little ones are so precious and they need me right now. And that being a mom to them is special and the most important thing I can be doing right now.
My Father in Heaven is proud that I decided to serve them.
And He will help me with my goals.
I just need to be patient and remember that it's what he wants for me
not what I want for me.
I need to let his will happen.

Just something I needed to get out.
Didn't mean to damper anyones spirits.
But I do want my kids to know the things I think about and am going through
so maybe it will help them someday and help me realize things about myself
in this growing process we call life.

I know I moved to Canada for reasons beyond what I can comprehend. I've had confirmation on several occasions that I was supposed to be where I was for certain reasons-
A big reason was being in young Womens in Midnapore Ward.
Those girls touched me so much and I feel honored to have been so close to them.
They will forever be some of my closest friends. So there you go my random thoughts and feelings. Heres to hoping I can get through school in one piece.
And when it does finally happen even if it's 8 years from now we are celebrating like crazy!

old college friend and Brandons twin

4 years ago.....
This year

When we were in Utah we went out to dinner with one of our most amazing friends Trevor Sanford and got to meet his new sweet wife Cristina. Trev was Brandon's old roommate and my good friend and it was so much fun to hang out with him. It's good to know you can have friends who you havnt seen in so long and you get together and it's like a day hasn't passed and your still the same. It was so good to hang out! They still look a lot like brothers I think! If Brandon hadnt of shaved that day- he had some hair goin on- they wouldve looked even more alike!

The color code as my final thesis...

I've always been fascinated by this book and how it divulges into peoples personality's and how they get along with others. For my organizational Communications class we had to take a subject we enjoyed learning about and turn that subject into a 15 page paper and powerpoint. I decided to write a lesson plan pretending I was a professor. Id have my students take the quiz and come back to class dressed in their color I'd then divide them into groups first in all their own colors and have them work out different leadership roles- then Id switch them so the colors were mixed. A discussion would ensue...

So basically thats the readers digest version of my project. I took organizational Leadership and tried to make other people see that there is more than one way that people lead in groups. If you have an afternoon on a beach this summer I highly recommend this book. you learn a lot about yourself and others. It helps with relationships also. I'm a red- Brandons a white- go figure
I'm so glad this semester is almost over- it's been a lot of reading and a lot of late nights after the boys are all asleep- Brandon included. It will be nice to relax for a couple weeks before fall semester starts.
I'm excited for my fall classes. I'm finishing my visual arts minor's last requirement class- on ancient art history- super stoked for that one-my last religion class-new testament- and then its on to finishing my business classes- sooo close- sooo excited to almost be done- I'm thinking of celebrating by doing something crazy- any ideas?

{Picking an Organization to join}

 {or....}

So on top of My BYU Stuff I have going on right now I'm trying to certify in the Event Industry. WHen I took some of my Event planning classes from Mount Royal they were big on two Organizations. Basically you have to take their courses and then take a test. They will then mail you your certificate of completion and you are officially certified. The only problem.. which one do I choose? Ises- International Special Events Society or ABC Assocation of Bridal Consulting. I want my company to be both so I'm not quite sure which one to choose. They each have pros and cons- ISES is a higher membership fee- but better recognized- and abc is well known cheaper and has a class in Los Angeles where I could go down and certify in a weekend- I like that Idea. Just get it done. I have a dear friend that's making my website and I can't tell you how excited I am that This is finally getting off the ground. Thanks to the entrepreneur magazine-it helped a ton! I'm keeping with my first name of Bliss- Nothing else attatched to it. I thought about some other names but they didn't fit who I was. And what I've wanted to do for a long time. So now is decision time..I'm horrible at decision making. Looks like I need a job to get me where I need to go. Please not retail again!

Multiple blessings...

For christmas Brandon bought me the book multiple blessings by Kate Gosselin and her friend Beth. I've been anticipating this book for long time and was so excited to finally get in my cozy jammies and read it. I can not explain to you how much this book touched me. I feel guilty for ever complaining about having twins and having to take care of them alone during the day. I've been struggling for quite a while now with coming to terms that I'm a mother. I guess I've always had a go get em attitude and expected to be doing somthing different at this point in my life. Finishing school has been always on my mind- feeling like a failure for not being done already- and sadly watching as my friends were graduating and getting jobs- don't get me wrong I wouldnt trade moving to canada for anything but sometimes I just wanted to scream- hey I'm smart and educated and I want to finish- they just won't let me. On top of this I still don't know what to do with my life. I'm now a permanent resident of canada and the boys are almost one- making it easier for me to start school again. I'm finishing my degree just to have a degree-( which alone feels like I'm failing again doing it online- but it just makes more sense this way- I just hate taking the easy road) I see how immature that sounds but its truly how I feel. I believe its important but I cant decide the emphasis -unfortunatley you can only pick from 4 majors when you finish online and nothing seems to suit me. I guess I just need to pick something and go with it. I know that what I do will probablly require additional training-man school lasts forever- but it is very important to me to feel sucessful. Like I did it -and I'm good at my talents. Having my boys was a hard adjustment with control- I love being in control of every little thing. I feel a lot like kate in that it wasnt quite what I was planning on happening to me. Like other people are first and what I want is always on the back burner. After reading this book it became apparent to me that it's god's timing. That I'm doing something sucessful. But that I need to do what he wants before I can do what I want. That he loves me and will make sure my prayers are answered-that I need to give and realize god will always give more back to me. In so many ways this book has answered my prayers and helped with my jumbled brain of confusion and heartache. Teaching me to appreciate the little moments and that the answers to life will come . To not worry about my career right now-he'll show me what I need to do- he'll fill my well strengthen me on the hard days and bring me unexplainble joy through my boys. Just work on my school and he'll fill in the gaps. I just need to trust him and relinquish control. I'm greatful for her insight and open honsty. My life will have answers but I need to listen to what he wants and when.

R is for...

Rexburg and Ring
I know it's probabally against the rules but i have 2 r's to blog about. The first is my wedding ring. When We got engaged brandon got me my dream ring an emerald cut solitaire with a wide tension setting. I didnt want a band. I love my ring and every time I look at it it reminds me of brandon so nervous asking me to marry him in front of the castle in disneyland- One of the best moments of my life. well when I got pregnant with out twins- I'd go to work and everyone would ask me when i was getting married-after the babies came ect ect- I laughed at it but it kind've bothered me a little- I told Brandon about what people had been saying to me- just wanting to talk about it. On a trip down to Utah we stopped in Idaho Falls to get my ring cleaned from the jeweler Brandon ordered my ring from-(side note he ordered it from canada and shipped it to California so I wouldn't find it in our baggage- he never saw my ring till the day before he asked me)- So we go into the jewelers and Brandon leans into me and says lets buy you a band- WHAT! REALLY- as squeals of excitment come from every pore of my body. I couldn't believe- that he's listened so close to something that bothered me and wanted to make me smile. He was so sweet and excited for me- It was fun like looking at rings before you get engaged- Brandon and I never did this- he suprised me. So now I have a band with my wedding ring- it's paper thin and goes along with my tension setting band- I adore it and it was so fun to have a sparkly new ring. i like things that sparkle. So thank you Babe. It was very fun for me! I felt very loved.

The second r is for Rexburg Idaho. This place is like nowhere in the world. It's somewhere that I was the happiest I'd ever been in my whole life. It was almost a new beginning for me. leaving everyone I knew and going to school. Starting over- no longer would I be known as the sad girl who had 2 sisters die. It made me a stronger person and my family stronger- but I felt like I was looked at differently. When I went to Rexburg I came alive. I made lifelong friends. Laughed harder than I ever have in my whole life. Tried new crazy things and just found out who I was. It was a breath of fresh air. Burning couches on sand dunes- dam sliding, throwing mattresses out the window and sleeping outside-practical jokes stadium singing - my amazing classes and the spirit I felt there were all incredible moments in my life. I hope that everyone gets to experience something like rexburg once in there lives. It's true what people say when you walk around campus there you feel -the spirit of ricks your friends with everyone. I miss my BYUI friends so much and am so greatful that I decided to stay there for school instead of going to BYU( I was accepted and ready to go for fall- my mom told me to break into school by going to idaho for a semester). I'm sure it would've been fun too- But I'd never trade the experiences I had. I miss broulims the grocery store- Going to the snow shack- and plasma center with cori- playing intumural soccer- going to denny's at 2 am with sachin- buying grocery's with melissa, watching friendsand giggling till 3 am with emm, throwing fruit loops at drew, playing halo with bryan-singing disney songs to the efy kids from our car with trev, listening to Matt's music, watching Rob play volleyball, and spending nights under the stars with Brandon. There are amazing stars in the burg.Craigo's dessert Pizza. 5th of july fireworks,Brent and risk- Going to maverick for hot coco with rach and laura- Dressing up and Dancing with Anna,Picking up road kill with Jewels and Kim. Swapping clothes and singing in the shower competitions with Tric-Playing cards with Brooke-Talking with Jenna Dressing up like rockstars- How the taylor building lit up at night-Sonic vanilla coke- carving my name in the bricks of the spori with my comm class-tap dancing for school credit-learning about the gospel and growing my own testimony. I love and adore this place and somedays I just wish I could go back. It was a simpler time with a lot of happiness and Joy. Maybe my boys will get to go someday. I hope so!

bootcamp/photographer/byui

So I had my first consultation with my bootcamp woman- it was interesting. I had to go all the way downtown to meet with her ughh-but the place her office was in was soo cute like this little old vintage hotel. I loved it. Anywyas she has me get on the scale- I hate her scale it said 154 ugggg and then she said i was dehydrated and my body fat was 25% even more ugggg. Then I had to do a step test she put a heart rate moniter on me and timed my heart rate I have no clue what the numbers meant -i had to step up and down for 5 minutes then i had to do sit ups- which suprisingly I had no trouble with even after my c section so yay there! Then I did push ups she was impressed I did man push ups- but im sore today then i did a flexibility test - i wasnt scared for that im pretty flexible- not as much as I used to be but still pretty good then i did however many squats as i could in 5 minutes- also sore- i think it informed me that i am indeed out of shape. She was impressed that i actually weighed what i did after having twins and having a c section. And that i was being a lot harder on myself than she thought I should be- I guess we are always our own worst enemy. She said we'd work on my arms and my thighs- the areas i hate on me. and just an overall toning of my body/face because thats where i carry my weight. I'm so excited for no saddlebags- people im freaking motivated! She said it was important to have smaller portions and more often to increase metabolism. Also that i should be drinking more water- my flovoured water is allowed i asked her- hallelujiah!

oh and a question....anyone know a good photographer in calgary- my boys are growing and I need someone with some flair!

and I'm proud to announce I will be starting school again in January as part of 40 students who will be finishing there business degree online via webcams through byu-i- I can't wait to go to commencement. Its a huge goal of mine. I LOVE SCHOOL! I love learning and i value it very high in my life. I was thinking about going to u of c- but seriously do you think i have time for that and i hate the commute. Ill still be doing mount royals event and floral program but am excited to have my degree.- anyone know a good babysitter too? besides brooke and debbie they get enough of my boys :)

Back to school for me!

SO I DID IT!

I'm officially going back to school. I had an ephiphany last night that I needed to check byu-idahos website- I'm not sure why so I did this morning. They are now offering to students who didnt quite finish their degre to do it online. I have my associates but want toget my bachelors- They have 4 areas which you can major in and mine was on there! You can choose Business communication english and history. I've officially decided on business. On the side I'm going to go to Event planning classes in the area. They are still in the process of creating it but it will be up soon. So I looked at the curriculum and saw what they wanted when this program starts and some of those classes were online that I could take now. I'm so happy I didnt think it was possible to graduate with my bachelors from the school I fell in love with. This also makes it so much easier on me having the twins- its seriously an answer to my prayers. I'm a huge believer in education and am so excited to learn again. I've always been a school junkie. If it werent for stupid immigration I would be done- but i guess things happen for a reason and it took 2 years for them to start this new program. All of my credits will be fine- I'm just relieved I know how to use their online system- I'm just very excited. So I'm signed up! Excited and ready to go!

Picking a major

So I'm planning on going back to school soon. this has been one of my goals since I was a little girl. My education has always been something that i have treasured and enjoyed. I really do love to learn. when Brandon and I got married I was so excited to move to Calgary. I love new adventured and new places. The only problem was that because I wasnt a canadian citizen I wasnt allowed to go to school for more than three months. For a while it literally devistated me. Now that I have me permanent resident card and am working on my citizenship i'm so ready to go back to school. The only problem I keep changing my mind on what i want to do. This is such a hard thing to comprehend for me. For some odd reason I just feel like I'm making a mistake every time i'm interested in something. So here we go maybe some of you can enlighten my mind a little. I want to be happy with what I'm doing. I know I'm smart but my creative side wins over- I think business would be a smart move but it just shouts boring all over to me- so alasthese are what i have been contemplating

business- emphasis in hospitality and Tourism- and adding an event planning certificate to start my own event company- i've always enjoyed planning events and transforming things- i just dont know if i want to be the main planner- or if i should pick a part of it and do it-my favorite part is coming up with themes and color pallettes and centerpiece ideas- i guess i got that from my grandma- we'd spend hours decorting the family dinner table picking out china putting swatches of fabric together- if i did do this i'd go 110 percent- thats kind've my life motto- its not worth doing if you dont do it to the best of your capabilities

photography- this is somthing thats new and I find it so enticing

graphic design- i love the computer and would enjoy learning how to do a lot of things like that- i had a class in highschool that was like this and i loved it and won a couple award for my ideas- i like the idea of making something enticing and beautiful

interior design- this one scares me a little- ive always been interested in it - but i know id never be as good as my sister in law Brooke shes a genius :)

My other dream job would be to open my own dance studio- i listen to songs on the radio all the time and can see a dance in my head i always say ok id have this lighting and they could wear this ect ect- this one also just scares me a little

so there you go my little life dilemma- I've been told itd the person you are that matters not what major you pick- but it seems important to me

Married life in the burg/graduation/moving to canada

So after we got married Brandon and I both needed one more semester to finish our degrees his bachelors and my associates - we had decided to move to canada afetr he finished school because of the great oppertunity for jobs in what he wanted to do...trading for an oil company. I was excited about a new adventure in life and was totally up for it. I remember that being one of the hardest semesters for me. id gone non stop to school with no break since i graduated from highschool and was burned out. And all we wanted to do was be with each other. We lived in a small one bedroom apt in a plce called university courtyard-the plus was it was close to camand having a general authority speak at graduation is really cool. We were there right before pus- usually married housing is farther away so it was nice we could still walk to class- i sold my car that semester-because it wouldve been a hastle to try and get it into canada. So that left us with brandons toyots tacoma- in the middle of winter - it was a stick and even though i tried i couldnt get the hang of it in the snow there-so when we went up for our second reception in calgary we traded cars with brandons brother barrett and got the xterra. I still miss that car gotta love the remote starter. Finally after a long semester and all the adjustments of being newly weds it was graduation time- i remember feeling sad i was leaving but excited for the new adventure. we got to sit next to each other at graduation that was really cool. We were there right before david bednar was called as an apostle- he was the pres of byu-i at the time- i heard him every tuesday at devotional. It felt so good to graduate like i was halfway towards my goal-even though i hadnt picked a solid major yet id changed 2 times from theatre education to interior design- i was so confused on what i wanted to do. The move to canada was crazy-we started working on immigration papers-and for anyone whos done it they know its not fun and it takes forever. I had to get medical checks be fingerprinted get fbi reports and basiclly tell my life story on paper and submit it to lawyers with pictures of my whole life to prove i wasnt lying just to live in canada- it was crazy i feel bad for people going the other way into the states- ive heard its harder-we had eventful times whenever we crossed the border and we waited for my work permit for a year- the worst part is they wont let you go to school or work until you are a landed immigrant i was so bored and antsy that year-it was really tough on me-because i wanted to get school done. Im so glad we had a lawyer to help us figure the whole process out he helped a lot. I finally got my alberta health card and work permit and things started looking up- UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE IS AMAZING! your sick you go to the doctor they pay for everthing- i love it the states needs it so bad so peole arnt afraid to go to the doctor- what a freedom. I started working for Pier 1 imports as a manager when i got my work permit and started up school again. I decided to take some event planning classes and see how i liked them- i knew immediatley it was something i wanted to do- but i also wanted a degree on top of it so i tried thinking of what would work well with event planning and business seemed like a good option with an emphasis in either hospitaility and tourism or entrapreneurship-sorry i know i spelled that wrong. afetr about a year i got my permanent redident card amd officially welcome in canada. I have another 3 years before i can apply for citizenship- how exciting-thnk heavens to the johnsons for helping me through that crazy time and helping me get into canada smoothly i owe them big and love them big for it.

Reminiscing about Rexburg.

When I think back to the happiest time in my life I would have to say the summer of 2004 was definatley a highlight in my life. I ended up going to BYU- Idaho. I had been accepted to BYU and was planning on attending in the fall. But i wanted to do something fun for the summer and my mom talked me into going. Thank heavens she did. I went up without knowing anyone i was going to room with. It was the biggest blessing in my entire life. I met two amazing girls there who will forever be a part of my life. Cori Miles and Emily Tappert. They really taught me how to come out of my shell and live every little moment with vigor. I've never laughed harder in my life than when i was with them. They are both from redlands california and have a good friend named Sachin Tekade( he was Brandons roomate) Sachin came over to our apartment Nauvoo building 311 and brought Brandon ad thats how We met. Playing cranium on the floor of our apartment- and right when i saw brandon i knew there was suppposed to be something between us. Sachin is another reason i loved rexburg so much. He one of the most interesting people I know. Very witty and speaks his mind. Whether it was a who wants to go to denny's- at 2 in the morning or who you rather be eaten by 10 sharks or ride on a horse through the burning desert being chased by a sandstorm. Or whether it was him coming up to you and purring or barking like a dog or trying to kick our other friend John Spooner- just to watch john push him over. Sachin was just fun to be around and the life of the party. I'm so glad i have him as a friend. cori and emm also had a friend named drew simpson. Drew was very adventurous and shared the same love of sharks with sachin. I have lots of great memories with him also - like singing disneysongs really loud in my car in front of all the efy kids trying to freak them out- climbing the walls of the gazebos at the byui gardens -making fun itineraries, having coloring contests and throwing fruitloops across the room trying to cath them in our mouths.Which brings me to Brandons other roomates trevor, brent, bryan, rob, matt and spooner- all of these guys made life up there so fun and entertaining. From watching them all play x box till 2 in the morning to burning a couch on the sanddunes and having the police comeand tell us to pick out the nails-lol without a flashlight and without the fire to see where they were-lol-jumping off waterfalls at monkey rock and going dam sliding in if-buying a quart of ice cream and sneaking it into the movie just t hear sachin the whole time saying whats behind that door just as he opens it - never watch a movie with the man. Rob and i had a humanities class together and for one of our projects he took pictures of me in a filed i still love those picturs he got an a i got a c on that assignment he still owes me!-watching him and sachin play volleyball with intermurrals was fun- and i loved plying soccer on the ridge team- even though we lived in nauvoo and the boys were at the ridge- thanks spooner for making that so fun. To Brent who always made me laugh with smart sarcastic humor and helped my hubby ask me out along with melissa- ahh but melissa and i thats a whole other entry. Making movies-trev your the best sherrif anywhere-And the night we took a mask put it on brooms and raised it up to the girls apartments and shot there windows with a air gun theyd look out there window and scream- so funny and the time where we bought hot peppers and went around to aprtments and dared people to eat them- i just have so many fond memories of rexburg- this is probabally a lot of jumbled thoughts but it will help me remember someday how special these people were to me. Luckily i decided to stay at byu-i after this great semester. You truly have to make your own fun in rexburg and everyone gets so close. I love it there. And i love all the friends I made while I was there. ill talk later about winter and other semesters.

Getting engaged...

Can i Just say I have the best husband in the world. When i tell how we got engaged everyone guy in our ward goes up to Brandon and says man you gotta knock it down a couple so we look good :) Yes i will say that at least to me i have the most romantic engagement story ever. So During the summer I was still in rexburg Brandon was doing his internship in Calgary. We were away from each other and it was awful- despite the time i flew to calgary and suprised him he he eh- Thank heavens for instant messenger. We both hate the phone funny eh..anyways( dont worry we still called each other) I had a break during the summer semesters -back when they still did that at byu-i and i asked Brandon if he was going to come to idaho to visit me over the break- he said that it sounded like fun but he downplayed it and i was all worried he wasnt excited to see me. Then a couple days before he was supposed to come down he gets on im and says get your stuff packed cause were going to california! Hed bought me a plane ticket to go to california. My old roomates Cori and Emily are from Redlands and we planned on staying with them when we got there. Brandon got to idaho and we literally jumped in each others arms-he came during a huge rainstorm- one that filled the gutters on the slope of colonial house- ill always remember it caus ei was worried about him getting to my apt safe and sound. We packed our bags and I can't remember if we left in the morning or that night- we drove to utah to my parents house and spent the night then the next day my dad took us to tha airport in slc. We flew to vegas had a layover there(once again thank heavens for the dvd player)then flew into ontario airport. We rented a car-gotta love joels connections with the avis dude. And Brandon was thrilled when the lady said wow your getting a great deal on this! From there we drove to redlands to Cori's house. It was so fun to see all my dear friends. I seriously think i was supposed to be born in redlands cause we have tons of friends from there..anywyas cori had just had surgery so she was on the couch and emm was sitting on the couch eating a popcycle. We talked for a while and i had to go to the bathroom and while i was gone brandon asked cori and emm if his special package arrived- aka he shipped the ring to california so i wouldnt find it in his bag. Cori and emm didnt know it was a ring- so they were excited- brandon hadnt even seen the ring yet cause he purchased it from canada at a store in idaho falls. It was the first time hed gotten to see the ring too. That night anisha(sachin-brandons roomates twin sister) emm brandon and i drove to universal city walk- kind've like downtown disney and just spent the night there having fun eating dinner. The next day we were planning on going to disneyland -and if any of you know me and how much i love disneyland- I basically coudnt sleep the whole night- brandon for another reason... to be continued

The beginning of us....

The time : An evening in June of 2004
The place: Rexburg Idaho, Nauvoo girls apartment 311
What: The start of something so amazing
The first time I met Brandon I was coming back to my apartment from a trip home to Utah for the weekend. I was hauling my stuff upstairs I opened the door and my roomates Cori and Emily had our other friend sachin there with one of his roomates(Brandon). I know this may sound a little cheesy and sappy movie like. But from the moment I first saw him something inside of me said your supposed to be together. I was awestruck by this feeling just staring at him my jaw dropped with how handsome this guy was. Needless to say it turned out to be the best summer of my life and led to something even more special to my heart. I begged my roomates to see if he had a girlfriend....yes! he's available. now how do I get him to ask me out....yes! his roomates. So thanks to Sachin Brent and Trevor I now have my wonderful husband. ( I didnt know he was a little shy at the time) So when he called I remember being so excited. Emily and I jumped around the partment for a minute. He took me to a movie and dinner at chilis. It was here I was first introduced to Johnson cuisine... chips and salsa. We played a game with the coasters and i remember it being a blast. The rest of the summer followed with great memories-bridge jumping dam sliding the fun itinerary coloring contests movie making and being around some of my best friends in the world. You know thers always those people who you'll never forget and my friends that summer have enriched my life so much. I'll forever have my happiest memories from that summer. I was falling more for one of my best friends. I loved how smart he was. How he loved to learn. Something I value very high. I loved how he talked about his family, and acted around his adoarble cousins when we went out to terraton! If anyone whos reading this ever gets a chance to go, it's now one of my favorite places,so full of love. I'd watch him play with the kids and imagine us being a family someday. I was defiantley in love. Our first kiss was the most romantic evening I've ever had. We took his black tacoma out with bean bags in the back and watched indiana jones in the middle of a field- with a shower of shooting stars over us. The best part was knowing he was shy and how gutsy he was that night to kiss me. I never wanted the summer to end. But i was preparing to go to anotyher school in the fall. I missed hom so much in those 2 weeks. When i got to this other school nothing felt right and my roomates were pretty shady and all i wanted to do was be back in rexburg, which is funny cause at the beginning I did not want to be in Idaho! and there i was begging to go back there. It has a way of pulling your heart strings. Theres just something about BYU-I. (it helped Brandon was there too) We decided that I was supposed to be there. 2 weeks later i was back at BYU-I living in the girls side of the complex where Brandon lived at the ridge. We became closer during the fall- always with each other and when winter semester came i had nowhere to live. Brandons idea...room with my sister Brooke. I was so excited. She is so much fun and that semester I was able to grow even closer to Brandon and his family- I found out that cards at the Johnson house is no light matter! Rooming with Brooke helped our relationship move onto the next phase and soon we were talking about being togther more. I went away for a weekend and the day I came back Brandon asked me on a date we went to a movie where we were the only ones in the theatre-he asked how I felt about moving to canada- I was shocked and so excited - I wanted that stupid movie to end. That night he told me he loved me and realized how much he missed me when I went away for a weekend. To be contnued.....
