Here are a few pictures from our seussical Event! For our Wards March Party. I'm going to post the poem the Christy wrote-be prepared to be amazed people!its so cute! as soon as I get a copy but the poem explains the theme. Ciny Ady our MLA came and spoke about remembering why we're importnat in the world around us. It was a great talk she is very eloquent. Despite having issues with hanging the lanterns we managed to get some up just intime- thanks to some guys and thicker rope! THANK YOU! And to those who helped us set up! We used scrapbook paper as placemats color coordinating plates made tissue paper flowers Thanks to pam- a seussical chair that when we passed a bucket around with questions for the ladies in our new ward so we could get to know them better and when the timer stopped that person had to pick someone they didnt know and come sit in the seussical chair. we added citrus fruits to the water had some awesome soups and salads by Melanie and Susie -and amazingly cute cupcakes by Amanda. it Turned about pretty fun I think. I'm going to add a closeup of my favorite part- our little Dr Seuss trees and the linens. They were just my candle holders that I put the big tissue paper flowers on. So fun! The invite on the bottom was for a girls night I just added it cause I wanted to blog about how cool I think chandalier silouettes are. And it went with the color pallette.
