{Commotion Under the Ocean 1st Birthday Party}

I have to say the boys birthday was such a blast! We did a theme of Commotion under the ocean because the boys love the water and finding nemo. Orange and blue was such a fun color scheme to work with. I'm not a fan of cartoony stuff on plates and cups ect- {plus calgary lacks a party store that's good} you basically have to order stuff online-so I did colors instead and I tried to limit the nemo- to the cupcakes which ARE THEY NOT AMAZING! Dorienne Fairbanks made them for me. What an amazingly talented woman! I have her digits if you need some cute creations. I said ocean theme and she literally made the entire ocean!- and everything was edible and the fondant tasted good-and on the inside was pudding yum- take a look at the close ups of all the animals on the cupcakes- turtle fish coral starfish seahorses an octopus and dolphin. I was so excited they turned out so beautiful. You could tell the boys were excited there was something going on and they were getting everyone to hold them. They loved there friends, wrapping paper, and presents. And especially eating their special cupcakes- they were so good! Keisha bought them the same shirts that they were wearing that night- I laughed so hard! we've done this like 3 times- same ties same shoes ect. Dafoes brought some awesome toys which my boys have been playing with all morning. We also got some books new easter clothes a little people garage walker and{ mini speedos- see pics!} ect. They have awesome grandparents! And friends and aunts and uncles. I feel so greatful to have so many in my boys life. Man it's like christmas at a birthday party for twins! Next time we'll be going somewhere bigger. It was really funny liv even started helping the boys open presents- What a good helper! We went swimming at Southland Leisure Centre after. With Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Brooke. It was fun to see how much they love the water again. I'll always remember it. You could tell they understood it was special. Oh how I love their cuteness.
