oh coco....
This little crazy has been into my expensive makeup lately... like the limited edition MAC lipsticks that I love. She says they make her look like a princess. And instead of calling it lipstick she calls it lips... MOM I NEED MY LIPS! It's so hard to get mad when she's makebelieving. But she always knows she's in trouble because she will break into sobs If I get mad at her. So we went to Target to get her some lip smackers hoping this would alleviate the need to get into mine..obviously they are clear... and she was not happy. They need to be colorful mommy! I swear if this girl dosn't turn out to be a makeup artist I'll be shocked. She watches me put my makeup on every morning and just compliments me it's adorable. Mommy you look so beautiful just like a princess....she melts my heart. I love her sweet little voice and tender heart. Her crisp blue eyes and tiny giggle. We celebrated her 3.5 birthday last week. A new tradition where we sing half of happy birthday get cupcakes.

cute story
So coco loves ponies and especially carousels....she sees the one in walmart every time we go..but I never put money in because I think it's a waste....but I have let her sit on it while I take a picture so the other night we went I was at the checkout right next to the carousel so I let coco and Harrison go over and check it out... I go to pay for my groceries...and I first hear coo saying yahoo ride em cowgirl...then I see the carousel moving gahh how did they plug it in!!!... I run over only to find Harrison is pushing the carrousel for his sister....he looked up and said mom I'm pushing my sister! Beaming with pride..It was super sweet! I laughed and smiled all day over it.

1st day of ballet
Since I found out I was having a little girl I have been so excited to put her in ballet. I love ballet and It was always my favorite when I went to dance along with tap. As I got older and started pointe, I grew a whole new appreciation for its discipline and grace. I feel like ballet is a dying art, and I wanted to share with my daughter my love of dance and the happiness I feel when I'm on a stage. I almost cried when she tried on her leotard and shoes. I feel so lucky to have her as my daughter. She is effervescent and enthusiastic about everything. You can see it in her face. We've been practicing pretty hands and pretty feet and I think she has it down! we went acorss the street to take some pictures, she was sooo excited to go that she could not hold still she kept spinning and jumping and it was just the most happy moment. I love you my coco and I hope you learn to love dance and have fun. you amaze me little one.

coco and her friend miss ryley go together - and melanie and I get to hang out every monday.. It rocks!
they got tim bits on the way home and mel and I forgot they had the box oops they each ate about 6! good day for the girls!

painting the deck
t's finally warm enough to go outside, the kids were restless today and needed something different to do..so i took these lovely little crayola bath fizzies- 3 bucks at walmart by the shampoo- SO AMAZING they color the water but dont leave any type of color on skin or your bathtub...amazing! And instead of putting them in the bath I filled bowls and gave the kids brushes and measuring cups to mix and play with...3 hours later..they were still painting the deck.. then we had popcycles...it almost felt like summer!

and farmers market 1 week after
Sooo loved it so much last week i went this week with Brooke.. its amazing how tight of a cousin bond these guys have..it makes me happy because I grew up without my cousins being close. And I see how much fun they have together..literally makes my heart light...so we go to the play place again...had to take both boys to the bathroom ..and jump over the netting to get there cars that they threw over the slide/ brooke was feeding babies..we were both juggling 3 kids.. I knew people were staring..as we each have a set of twins and 2 more...Just call us the sisterwives! lol... anyways we were quite the show with our double strollers and 6 kids under 4. But I know they had fun and I had fun just chillin with brookie. So we went to the slushie bar..thank you greyson..and the guy remembered him from last time! too cute.. He took pictures of the kids for us and they all felt so special sitting up at the bar. It was a good day.

farmers market excursion
I love the farmers market... It's sad they don't really have one where I used to live in utah because man are they missing out....fresh produce thats in season.. french bakeries, authentic cuisines from chinese to thai -theres a huge amount of chinese and east indian people that live in Canada so we get all the yummy goodness that come along with so much culture. They call canada a cultural mosaic where everyone that comes here keeps so much of their heritage vs the american melting pot. I love that I can teach my kids about different cultures by driving 15 minutes to the markets or to chinatown.
anyways on with our adventure.. so last week on friday when Harrison was at school.. greyson was super bored.. we'd been cooped inside all week because coco had been sick. so she finally was feeling better and I decided to get out of the house...we went the french pastry shop and got some fresh macarons.. arn't they just beautiful..and I have to say after eating the ones here..they don't taste like the ones in paris.. they were too chewy and real french ones have a crunchy shell. I also think the ones here are to sugarie..thats how you can tell a real french pastry...the chocolate is dark..and theres almost a bittersweet taste to many of their items. In fact their hot chocolate has no sugar..you add sugar cubes..kind've like tea. I ordered a chocolate eclair and croissant for Brandon beacase they didn't have any millefeuille- those are his favorites- the chocolate stuff.
So next we go check out the flower shop.. this isn't any floral shop.. they have hundreds of flowers that you can pick individual stems from and they will make a bouquet on the spot..it's awesome.. I love it, because I have such a crazy taste in flowers its fun to get a bunch and take them home and make an arrangement myself. Sometimes I do this on days where I'm super stressed..flowers just bring me down to earth..nature has a way of calming me.
so we wander and greyson gets thirsty so we stop at this no additives slushie place..gotta love granola people..he decides to make greyson a rainbow slushie... he loved it his eyes got huge and he was thrilled about this magical drink...so what have I heard about non stop for 2 weeks...rainbow slushies...MOM LETS GO GET A RAINBOW DRINK! everythings rainbow. Greyson cracks me up. He's so informative and remembers everything I tell him. I have to say when I go out now the kids stay by me.. its still a gong show.. but its getting so much easier..that I dont feel like I have to cry every time I get back into my car with 3 kids that are also losing their minds. I cant believe how much easier it feels this year. I definitely felt my blessings this week. I can tell I'm being taken care of.
I have to say I appreciate the market so much more now that I shop for a child on the spectrum... everythings gluten free- it saves my life. I'm also getting tested for celiac since my dad and sister both have it. I feel so healthy when I buy food there. I also order my produce from a company called spud.. who delivers fresh organic produce to my door every other week.. its awesome I LOVE IT! IT makes me cook with vegetables and fruits more.. And I feel like there's no extra chemicals or things that could bug Harrisons sensitive little body.
so last event of the day..we played in their cute farm playplace and totally wore them out..and on the way home they both fell asleep... so I had the rest of the afternoon to cuddle and read books with Harrison when he got home.. it was such a chill day.. and I loved just exploring..my own little town. And hanging out with my buddies.

taking the princess to build a bear
for our kids birthdays we always like to take them one on one to do an activity with brandon and I.. then we fully enjoy that child at that moment...so what else descibes coco to a t....stuffed animals she loves them...I'm not a huge fan of them..but she's kindve melted my heart.. so anyways on her birthday we got her ready the boys got off to school and we drove to chinook centre...
coco loves escalators....she was so excited just to go on it.. little did she know we had more..so we go up the escalator..and let her walk around the corner....
then she sees it.....she runs.....her eyes get huge...and she gasps and says bears!!!!! let the shaking begin...
she immediatly loved the first bear...wanted to grab it..so we grabbed the oatmeal colored one and moved to the sound station..where we got the i love you button put inside....once she found out it made noise she walked around all day saying i love you and giggling toherself..what a ham...
they stitched up the bear..and she got to stick the heart in.. its amazing how much she focuses...and how she just loved it. she got to push the button on the bathtub and it kindve scared her..she ran back to brandon until the noise went away...
YAY I FINALLY GET MY BEAR MOM!

Brandon helped her name it coconut....and she was one happy girl...This was too much fun I highly suggest it for a 2 year old girl.
queen of hearts birthday
Our coco turned 2 on the 8th of february..and I decided to throw a valentines themed party,,,because her birthday has been so close to valentines and her official due date was valentines..I always think of her as my little valentine...

the wreath is made from yarn... a floaties cut and duck taped..some red crinoline, red wire sprigs and sparkly hearts from the dollar store..i tucked her invite in for the party..and then took it off after her party..so it worked for valentines too.
our chalkborad wall greeted everyone as they came in.. I wrote love a bajillion times..I think it looks like wallpaper after I LOVE IT...:)
I had everyone type or write coco a note for her to open on her 18th birthday before they came in..on paper doilies
cute straws bought on etsy from isakay boutique- I just used red paper cups to cut down on costs..and I couldnt find milk bottle..but I actually ended up liking the pop of color
my amazing cake and cupcakes were made by miss katie from cakery bakery cherry chocolate strawberry filling with dark chocolate and vanilla and chocolate buttercream swirled like a rose.. sooooo cute and sooo yummy!
raspberry sorbet punch to drink.. I put it in an apothecary jar instead of a
punch bowl for a little extra flair
chocolate croissants wrapped in heart doilies
and the cute little missy herself in a mod dress with peterpan collar dress from faithworks4u
