queen of hearts birthday

Our coco turned 2 on the 8th of february..and I decided to throw a valentines themed party,,,because her birthday has been so close to valentines and her official due date was valentines..I always think of her as my little valentine...

this cute invite I found on mommiesink via etsy...it was a valentine postcard I just had changed for a birthday theme.
 the wreath is made from yarn... a floaties cut and duck taped..some  red crinoline, red wire sprigs and sparkly hearts from the dollar store..i tucked her invite in for the party..and then took it off after her party..so it worked for valentines too.

 our chalkborad wall greeted everyone as they came in.. I wrote love a bajillion times..I think it looks like wallpaper after I LOVE IT...:)

 I had everyone type or write coco a note for her to open on her 18th birthday before they came in..on paper doilies

                                    cute straws bought on etsy from isakay boutique- I just used red paper cups to cut down on costs..and I couldnt find milk bottle..but I  actually ended up liking the pop of color

                 my amazing cake and cupcakes were made by miss katie from cakery bakery cherry chocolate  strawberry filling with dark chocolate and vanilla and chocolate buttercream swirled like a rose.. sooooo cute and sooo yummy!

 raspberry sorbet punch to drink.. I put it in an apothecary jar instead of a 

punch bowl for a little extra flair

For the next two days Modsblog is helping promote an online auction helping to raise money for adoption costs/invitro for 2 deserving families. One is my sister in law Brooke the other a dear friend named Devanie.

Infertility sucks and I hope we can help these families relieve the struggle even if it's just a little.

1. Auction runs the morning of Tuesday, April 12 and commences at 
midnight on Thursday, April 14th

2. Find the item you can't live without (use the labels or images in the side-column of our main page to peruse)

3. Comment on that item with your name, bid amount and your email address
(we need this in order for your bid to be valid and so we can contact you if you win)
4. We will contact the highest bidders/winners by email on Friday April 15th and receive their shipping information

5. If you are the winner, please hold your payment until you receive an invoice from PayPal via email. Your bid will be paid directly to the SweetPea Benefit Boutique PayPal account.
6. If payment has not been received within 48 hours of the highest bidder being informed, the next highest bidder will be eligible to receive that item
7. Once the item has been paid for, the winning bidder's shipping information will be sent directly to the vendor, who will ship the donated item or will make arrangements for a service type of item to be received (i.e. emailing of gift certificates)

SOOOO It's here...

Yep the huge giveaway I've been working on for about a month now is finally posted. I feel very fortunate to be able to help out this great Charity. The Concert is going to raise so much awareness for Child Rescue And I'm beyond greatful and humbled they would pick me to help them out.

I've had so much fun and worked sooo hard this past month putting in countless hours of e-mails and phone calls to different companies. 
I have a new found respect for non profit organizations and all the work that goes into advertising and all the little things that make huge events like this concert happen. So lets help combat this issue starting with little baby steps- and this is a great way to get involved support the cause and raise awareness.

owl birthday party

My boys birthday party was so much fun. I decided to do an owl theme this year cause it was so little boyish. My mom made a banner bags and cupcake toppers cause I was low on energy from my c section recovery. She's going to start selling party packages on her etsy sight if you want to check it out. Thanks mom!

Brandon and I got the boys a play structure and a play kitchen- We had a little too much fun at toys r us- it has literally saved my life- I love spring time and letting them run around outside. they love it too. They got construction trucks shopping carts books and blocks from grandparents star wars shirts from aunt Keshia play dough from cousins and Dafoes and these awesome

disney books from Neilsons.

It was fun watching as we sang to them how their eyes lit up. They got that it was for them and that made my heart smile.

Technically there birthday isnt until the 1st- so my sentimental post will be then- but I was too excited about these little owls!

new additions to the nursery

Finished pom pom mobile!- I just took 2 dowels spray painted them and wrapped them together with fishing line then put a screw hook in the ceiling and hung the poms- soooo easy and I love how sculpturish and artsy it looks

Check out the hot pink eiffel tower! My cousin mailed it to me from idaho! I was so excited to get a package in the mail. it totally made my whole month and everytime i see it I feel a sense of love. Also new are the cute vintage trunks for Sarah Benson- I adore these people. they look a lot better than my boys junkyard nightstand ones. Also new is the blingy frame from Marg Smith and black little eiffel tower from Dorienne Fairbanks. The frame above will have a picture of coco when I get pics back from vanessa. I'm so excited for them! I'm also looking for a dress form to put these tutus on if anyone knows where to get a black iron one please let me know!

This c Debbie and brooke found at winners in clearance for a couple bucks- I'm going to paint it hot pink and put it into the frame collage on the small opposite wall.

Chloe's French Baby Shower

Chloe's baby shower was amazing! My friends and fam planned a french themed shower- since that how we picked chloe's name and its so special to Brandon and I.

My dear friend sarah made this wall hanging for her room that everyone signed. Brooke made a video interviewing brandon about me and chloe- it was adorable I'll post it if I figure out how.

All I have to say is I have amazing friends and family. Thanks everyone who made my day special. Who helped clean cook set up.I know what it takes to pull something off like this and I felt so much love! Especially miss hostess Keshia your kinda legendairy.
