The wizard of Oz is one of my favorite plays. I love judy garland and her voice and I love how the film is such a big part of history. plus...sparkly red shoes does it get any better?Keshia got us tickets for my christmas present to go see the play and I had such a fun night. We tried to find something to eat before and went to this kind've dive restaurant .. it was close to the theatre..we were surrounded by really old people who were getting the turkey dinner special.. after seeing it come out we just ordered nachos.. which were kind've stale.. in the end we just laughed about it. And went somewhere to eat after.

HELLO READERS...

Ok so we've been behind on the blogging.. we know its been busy at our house...ward parties twins..potty training-teething- dont worry I won't tell you much about that. 
Just know I'll be excited when this phase in life is over. So heres an update from a couple weeks ago. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for  ward karaoke christmas parties and having that introduce us to Dafoes. They are some of our closest friends. They always make us laugh. I seriously laugh like a kid when were all together. We both get along super great with each other and each others spouses- and sometimes thats hard to find both. I seriously think Denton and Brandon were supposed to be brothers but there was a mix up in Heaven. So we've been friends for about 5 years now- before any of our kids were born wed have game night every week.  When we lived in our teeny apartments in Midnapore- Great amazing memories and yes... somedays I wish I could go back to very simple times.
Basically they are just great down to earth people who we will forever love with all our hearts.- ok Brandon says enough with the mushy schmag-Im going to get in troublesarah will appreciate it and so will steven! moving on for reals...
 So they know were weird and totally love the old spice commercials regular and BYU version... if you havn't seen them go look it up on youtube. We quote them all the time and Brandon can sound just like the guy ... no joke his impression is hilarious. So they say they have a present for us and were like you got us a present? they were like little kids on christmas ready to give it to us so this is what it was....

Movie tickets...we moved them obviously but is this not the coolest present ever- so much thought so much love so much personality. I'm keeping this card forever.We love you guys.

4th of July BBQ In Canada

I love the 4th of July. It's my favorite Holiday. I guess partially because its in the summer and reminds me of the week I met Brandon- but I also love any excuse for sparkly things in the air. So when you marry someone who has a job in oil and gas trading you know that the 4th of July probably wont be the same for a while. The 4th always falls on bid week. So Brandon has to work late. Which means he also can't take Vacation. SO I officially decided 2 years ago to make the best of not being able to be home on the 4th. And I have an annual bbq in canada for the 4th of July. I invite my american friends that live here- and anyone else who cares to dawn red white and blue for the day. I always feel like summer starts after this bbq every year. I was so excited to get to dress my daughter up for the 4th. It was bittersweet knowing she wouldn't get to go to a parade or see fireworks but this outfit made me happy and feel festive. The boys had some 4th shorts that my mom bought them last year the day after the 4th when they are 75 percent off- Its always my fav day to shop- the day after the holiday to get stuff for parties for the next year.

So My BFFF MISS KESHIA TURNED 25 a couple weeks ago yes the tripple f's have special meaning not that we're nerds or anything... so I decided a great party would be to dress in 80s clothes and go rollerskating. I think the best parties are the ones where people dress up and really get into it. Where they don't care what other people think. I was a little worried some people wouldnt want to come because it was costumish- well Ill tell you what I'm so glad I have the friends I do because everyone showed up in costume. It made it so much fun.

Is she not beautiful? No really people some days I think..what would I do If I had never met Keshia? Shes a friend I know I'll have forever. Is always willing to serve and will literally give the shirt off her back to someone who needs it. Shes taught me to really have a heart full of charity. I can see the love she has for others and it inspires me. I love her beyond words and consider her one of my sisters. I love when her eyes go really big and she says WHAT? and shakes her head back and forth.

This picture says a thousand things in one. How much I love being with my friends. And how grateful I am to have them at this point in my life where I'm discovering who I am. They've helped shape me and have been examples. They probably don't know that I watch them and look up to them for so many things.

Ok lets have a chat about miss V. I admire her beyond words. I always think of her as like the cool teenager that you want to become one day when your like the pre teen. I just think this woman is full of finesse and a maturity and wisdom that is far beyond me. I love her grasp on life-her devotion to her family, her love for children, the balance to her life and the fact that you can see her happinesss and sincerity. I think she is so genuine and down to earth. If I could be like V in 5 years. I would be happy with the way I turned out.

CAWLA oh carla- this lady is one ball of energy that never stops. Even if she broke her tailbone right after this picture- miss party animal! I love how much emotion and passion she has. Its apparent in everything she does and even the way she speaks. She's not afraid to have a bad day and I think thats super brave of her. She's also not afraid to have a really good day and spread it to absolutely every living organism she comes in contact with. I love her kind heart and zesty personality. She's contagious and I love being around her.

Melanie-this girl is amazing- organized punctual efficient- but what you don't see is how tender she really is. What a freakin amazing mother wife and friend she is. She'll be there for anyone in a time of need- even if the task isn't that pleasant. She's so greatful for everything and I love that I learn things from her on a daily basis. And I adore her laugh. Her eyes sparkle when she laughs really hard.

Ali- Ive only known Ali for a short time But I love the realness that she is to me- the witty humor the sense of adventure she has is so refreshing. I love doing things with her and I think she's a great friend to anyone who knows her- thats not easy to find in a lot of people. Loyal Smart and Fun. Quite the package.

Basically I just wanted to say Thank you to these ladies for uplifting me for teaching me especially in this time in my life where I'm really trying to mold myself into the person I really want to become. And as Hard as it is to still be finding myself Your helping me in my journey. I learn more about myself from being with you all. I would love to take all your qualities mix them up in a super blender and come out with this crazy cool woman. the list does not stop here there are many many women who Im just starting to get to know That I feel wonderful things about. Inspiring women who I hope to get closer to this year. Thank You Heavenly Father for friends. They give me bliss.

LegenDairy Cactus Farm

So this last weekend us Nielsens and Larsens went on a small getaway to phoenix. It was so fun to be with friends..and it felt like I was in college again. So good for my little soul.

I had one on one time with Brandon and co co. She was amazing the whole trip and I loved just holding her- which is something I don't get to do a lot of at home cause I'm constantly chasing the boys..who by the way today opened my front door- deadbolt and all and went outside..looks like I need some better childproofing stuff-oh man one will kneel on the floor while the other climbs on top of him to reach things- HOW DO THEY LEARN THIS! anyways continuing on...

so on Sunday after church we wanted to do something naturie so decided to go to this cactus farm and have a picnic- yeah didntthink to hard on that one picnic on the ground with cactuses hmm that might hurt! yeah were kindve idiots. We thought there would be a visitor center or something ...nope just a desert with cactuses- haaa so now I always say hey guys rememeber when we went to that amazing cactus forest- and we all laugh pretty hard.

I liked this one it had pink flowers on it - kindve like it had an accesscory! and yes...I am wearing runners here!- did not want to ruin my heels on sharp cacti!
